Muffaletta Stuffed Bread Recipe
A muffa-whata, you say??? It's a uniquely-NOLA (NOLA = New Orleans, LA) sandwich.

Ingredients:
1 large or 2 regular size loaves of French bread
1 stick margarine, softened
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped pimento-stuffed olives
2 green onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 cup salami or summer sausage, and 1/2 cup ham, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. dried leaf oregano
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Directions:
Slice bread lengthwise, but not all the way through (like a po-boy loaf
is sliced).
Mix other ingredients and spread on the bread thickly.
Slice the bread, and then wrap the loaf in aluminum foil.
Heat in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
8-10 Servings
